Coal crisis situation to normalise in 3-4 days, says Union Minister Pralhad Joshi

Acknowledging the current coal crisis, Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday assured that the situation will normalise in the next three-four days. The Union minister noted that despite adverse circumstances, the country recorded the highest coal production in October. He asserted that the price of coal in the international market has suddenly risen sharply, which resulted in a reduction in import. While on the other hand heavy rains affected the domestic coal production significantly.
