Dalit girl's death: Congress' Seva Dal holds candlelight march in UP to demand justice for victim

The Congress' grassroots front organisation, Seva Dal, held a candlelight march here, demanding justice for the nine-year-old Dalit girl who was allegedly raped and murdered in Delhi earlier this week. The participants, including scores of Congress functionaries and office-bearers, gathered at the statue of Shaheed Bhagat at the clock tower trisection on Friday night. They also observed a two-minute silence in the memory of the victim.
