Earthquake hits Kargil, Ladakh

An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale was felt in Ladakh. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake tremors were felt 435-kms north-northwest of Kargil, Ladakh at 05:47 am today.
