AstraZeneca halts Oxford coronavirus vaccine trial after participant develops unexpected illness

Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca on Tuesday "voluntarily paused" a randomised clinical trial of its coronavirus vaccine. The company is developing the drug alongside the University of Oxford, a frontrunner in the global race for a COVID-19 vaccine.
