US to deploy more troops to Saudi Arabia, UAE

The United States will deploy additional troops and missile defence equipment to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the Pentagon announced on Friday. Trump has, at least for now, put off any immediate military strike on Iran in response to the attack on the Saudi oil industry. Commenting on the move, Defense Secretary Mark Esper told Pentagon reporters this is the first step to tighten security and he would not rule out additional moves down the road.
