Jammu and Kashmir: Encounter between security forces, terrorists underway in Shopian; area cordoned off

An encounter between terrorists and security forces broke out in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district early Saturday, news agency ANI reported. Security forces had received information about the presence of militants in the area after which the gunfight broke out.
