IAF to recommend Wg Cdr Abhinandan Varthaman for Vir Chakra

The India Air Force is mulling to recommend Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who shot down a Pakistan F-16 fighter jet during an aerial combat in February, for the wartime gallantry medal Vir Chakra.
