ICICI bank-Videocon case: ED summons Chanda Kochhar, Venugopal Dhoot for questioning today

Former ICICI Bank MD and CEO Chanda Kochhar, along with Videocon's Venugopal Dhoot, was called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Mumbai for questioning in the ICICI Bank-Videocon loan case on Saturday. Earlier on Friday, the ED had carried simultaneous raids at the residences of former Chanda Kochhar and Venugopal Dhoot in connection with an ongoing probe into alleged irregularities and corrupt practices in sanctioning of Rs 1,875 crore loan by the bank to the corporate group.
