Friday releases: Badla and Captain Marvel in cinema halls today

It's Bollywood Vs Hollywood at the box-office today. On one hand, we have Amitabh Bachchan starrer thriller movie Badla, which also stars Taapsee Pannu in a lead role. While at the other, there is Captain Marv el, which is apart of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which is a phenomenon in itself. Trade analysts believe that Captain Marvel will take centre stage as it gets a much wider release than Badla in India and that too in four languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The producers Disney expect the film to crack open the box-office. Says a source from Disney, “Captain Marvel is Marvel’s first woman superhero film. And, we  expect it to be every bit as successful all across the world as DC’s Wonder Woman.” Nonetheless, Amitabh Bachchan enjoys huge fan following and with the likes of Sujoy Ghosh and Taapsee Pannu, we can surely think of a box-offoce explode.
