DRDO satellite to be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh today, countdown underway

The countdown for the flight of an Indian rocket carrying the Microsat R imaging satellite of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Kalamsat student satellite began on Wednesday, an Indian space agency official said, adding satellite will be launched Thursday night.
