Citizenship (Amendment) Bill passed in Lok Sabha amid protests by Opposition

The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, seeking to provide Indian citizenship to non-Muslims from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, was passed in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
