Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir along with Lok Sabha polls? Rajnath Singh says govt ready for it if EC wants

Will Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections be held along with Lok Sabha polls? The government has no objection to it if the Election Commission (EC) wants, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday. Lok Sabha elections are due to be held in April-May. Jammu and Kashmir was last month placed under President's rule, six months after the BJP pulled out of Mehbooba Mufti-led government and the state was put under Governor's rule.
