Telangana Assembly Election 2018 LIVE UPDATES: As many as 1,821 candidates are in the fray for assembly election in Telangana where voting has begun for 119 assembly seats. In Telangana, the ruling TRS is facing a resurgent Congress-led People's Front in its bid for a second term. Polling for Telangana election began at 7 am on Friday, and will go on till 5 pm in 106 constituencies while in 13 Left Wing Extremism affected constituencies, polling will conclude at 4 p.m. VVPATs (voter verifiable paper audit trail) are being used in all the constituencies. Voters this time also have NOTA (none of the above) option.
