Centre set to increase public health spending to 2.5 per cent of GDP by 2025: PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said India is one of the first countries to advocate focused attention on adolescence and to implement a full-fledged health promotion and prevention programme for adolescents. Addressing the 2018 Partners' Forum in Delhi, Modi said the Central government is set to increase the public health spending to 2.5 per cent of its gross domestic product (GDP) by 2025.
