Karnataka by-election 2018 results LIVE UPDATES: Counting of votes for 3 Lok Sabha, 2 Assembly constituencies to begin shortly

Counting of votes for three Lok Sabha and two Assembly constituencies in Karnataka that went to bypolls on Saturday will begin shortly. The three Lok Sabha constituencies are – Shivamogga, Ballari and Mandya. The two Assembly constituencies that went to bypolls are – Ramanagara and Jamkhandi. Around 67 per cent voting was recorded in the bypolls for these five constituencies. A total of 31 candidates were in the fray from all the five constituencies, though the contest is mainly between the Congress-JDS combine and the BJP. According to officials, counting of votes will begin at 8am.
