Amritsar Train Accident: Nearly 2 weeks after ruling out investigation, Railways agrees to probe tragedy

Nearly two weeks after ruling out investigation into the Amritsar tragedy, the Indian Railways agreed to probe the incident in which 60 Dussehra revellers were mowed down by a passing train. ​A day after the accident on October 19, the railways had termed it a "case of trespassing".
