Jammu and Kashmir civic poll results: BJP sweeps elections with 43 seats, Congress suffers jolt

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not in power in the region but the saffron party still seems to enjoy a handsome people's support as it won 43 seats in the 75-member Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
