David Warner creates stir after 'removing himself from the game'

Within eight months of his international ban, disgraced Australian batsman David Warner is currently finding himself in the middle of another on-field drama albeit in a Sydney grade cricket match. The left-hander who is serving an embargo of 12 months for his involvement in the ball-tampering scandal in South Africa earlier this year is currently plying his trade in leagues around the world in order to gain useful match practice till he remains on the sidelines.   However, when he turned up for Randwick-Petersham against Western Suburbs in Sydney on Saturday he was allegedly sledged by an opposition player when on 35. Feeling offended Warner decided to leave the game midway. According to foxsports.com.au, he told the umpire: “I’m removing myself from the game”.
