Virat Kohli overtakes Brian Lara to become fastest batsman in history to complete 18000 international runs

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is on a record-breaking spree in the ongoing five-match series against England. The run machine adds some extra fuel to his engine every time he steps out on the field with his bat. Kohli on Saturday completed his 18000 international runs and became the quickest to do so by overtaking legendary West Indies batsman Brian Lara. The Indian skipper has achieved this feat in 382 innings while Lara took 411 innings to complete 18000 runs. Another cricket legend and Kohli's idol Sachin Tendulkar took 412 innings to do the same.
