Pakistan 'committed to CPEC', rejects report on BRI renegotiation

The Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) has rejected the reports of any planned renogiation of its deal with China on the ambitious economic corridor as part of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). A media report on Monday suggested that Prime Minister Imran Khan's newly elected government plans to renegotiate the agreements with China. But Islamabad refuted the report and said the country remains committed to the successful implementation of the CPEC.
