Earthquake rattles Assam, tremors felt across West Bengal, Bihar

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake rattled Assam on Wednesday sending tremors as far as West Bengal and Bihar.  No report of any loss of life or damage to property has been received so far.  The epicenter of the earthquake is Sapatgram, in Dhubri district of Assam, about 250 km from Guwahati.
